Babylon ARTS
Selected Summer Open

I am very happy to let you know that 'Trench' was voted 'Best In Show' at the Summer Open and as a result I have been offered a solo show at the venue next year. I'm hoping it will be in the summer, but watch this space for confirmation. It is a fabulous gallery and at the moment they need support to maintain the community cinema at the nearby Maltings.
Please contribute what you can – better still, go there and soak up the atmosphere! We all need these community spaces – let's not lose them!

The Cut Open show in Halesworth opens on Thursday 28th November and I will be showing a new piece called ‘Mediaeval Green’. The title comes from a beautiful poem by David Sutton - an absolutely amazing wordsmith - called Map-maker, which evokes the sense of falling back through time via the colours a cartographer might use to describe each era; hence ‘Mediaeval Green’. www.davidsuttonpoetry.com The exhibition continues until January and The Cut is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am - 4pm. www.newcut.org
